Glycohyal LW

Glycohyal LW

Hyaluronic acid and, in general, mucopolysaccharides are constituents of the connective tissue. GLYCOHYAL LW is a product of biotechnology and consists of precursors of mucopolysaccharides (particularly jalobiuronic acid) associated with a high percentage of low molecular weight Hyaluronic Acid (about 10% on the dry weight) obtained by acid hydrolysis in the complex. The average molecular weight (dry) of GLYCOHYAL LW range from 1000 to 1200 Dalton. The low molecular size of GLYCOHYAL LW promotes the intradermal penetration, is a rich source of material for the formation of hyaluronic acid in the medium molecular weight, particularly suitable for water retention in connective and therefore responsible for deep hydration.
