MG-60 (Maltotriosyl Glucoside)

MG-60 is a saccharide liquid containing maltooligosyl glucoside as its main constituent. Maltooligosyl glucoside is formed by linking one or several glucose units to trehalose with α-1,4 linkages. It also includes hydrogenated starch hydrolysate normally found in hydrogenated starch syrup. MG-60 is made from starch by enzymatic reactions, followed by chemical hydrogenation of the reducing end of the glucose units. MG-60 is a multifunctional carbohydrate liquid which imparts smooth texture and long lasting foam to products formulated for delicate skin. MG-60 can be used as a glycerin replacement, providing additional benefits to hair care, skin care and cleansing products.
