  • in-cosmetics Asia celebrates its 10th anniversary with over 10,000 visitors

    The tenth edition of in-cosmetics Asia welcomed a record high of 10,302 unique visitors - an increase of 18% on 2016. Among the attendees were some of the world’s top manufacturers including Amorepacific, Beiersdorf, Colgate Palmolive, Estée Lauder, Johnson & Johnson, L’Oréal, Procter and Gamble, PZ Cussons, Shiseido and Unilever. They gathered to see 416 of the industry’s leading ingredients suppliers, with Ashland, Clariant, DSM Nutritional Products, Evonik, Lonza, Lubrizol, Momentive, Wacker Chemicals and many start-ups showcasing novel innovations from around the world.

    International (non-Thai) visitor numbers were also up by 11.5% vs last year, and represented 32% of the total attendee figure. Over the three days, 3,292 visitors travelled from 69 non-Thai countries, including Malaysia, South Korea, China, the Philippines, India, Indonesia and Japan. The event continues to focus on doing business and creating new partners and networks across the industry.

    This year’s event had the R&D cosmetic manufacturing community at its heart. The new ‘Spotlight On’ feature focused on the hottest cosmetic trends, such as colour cosmetics, facial masks and natural extracts, while the essential, centrally-located Innovation Zone showcased 47 newly launched ingredients.

    Following on from the success of in-cosmetics Asia 2017 we look forward to in-cosmetics Asia 2018, which will take place at BITEC, Bangkok on 30th October - 1st November 2018.
