New natural preservatives from Korean traditional herbs as alternatives

Preservatives are required to ensure that manufactured cosmetics, foods and pharmaceutical products remain unspoiled and safe. Among preservatives, the parabens are the most commonly used in cosmetics because of their effective antimicrobial activity. But synthetic preservatives are mostly considered as safe, but several have negative and potentially life serious side effects. So natural substances can serve as beneficial alternatives. Therefore, in this study we provided the MSE-G3 as natural preservatives and its antimicrobial activities.
