Silicones are widely used in personal care. However, they meet growing consumer concerns, also the regulation is getting tighter. For this reason, more and more developers are trying to formulate silicone-free. Synthetic isoparaffins are an ideal replacement.

In contrast to standard paraffins, they are highly branched, which results in very beneficial skin feel. At the same time, these isoparaffins are very pure, the content of aromatics is less than 1 ppm.
