Longevity is one of the major innovation focus at ID bio. Focusing on Blue Zones, geographic areas with unusually high proportions of centenarians, we investigated on two major factors identified as contributors to longevity: true social connection and food factor.

We focused on an essential element of “Okinawa diet”: getto leaves (Alpinia speciosa), which extract has been studied for its ability to improve skin structure connections, capitalising on the analogy between “skin connections” and “social connection” at individuals’ level. The resulting consumer benefit is a significant enhancement of cutaneous healthy aspect of the skin (smoothed skin texture, rosy complexion aspect).
