Counterions of anionic surfactants affect cleanser property

Selection of counterions in anionic surfactants has a critical effect on their performance in rinse-off products. We will demonstrate that altering the counterions of fatty acids and amino acid-derived anionic surfactants modify their critical micelle concentrations and surface tensions, hence changing the performance of prototype cleansers.
